From napkin sketch to reality

Every breakthrough starts somewhere. Sometimes it’s in a lab. Sometimes it’s in a garage. For me, it was by sketching diagrams on napkins and scratch paper, trying to visualize something that didn’t exist yet.

It started with curiosity

Growing up, my dad would take me to the Linda Hall Library in Kansas City, one of the world’s leading research libraries for science and technology. That’s where I became fascinated with self-organizing systems and started asking a question that wouldn’t let go: Could we build a truly creative machine? Not something that just shuffles random combinations, but a system that could generate genuinely original insights.

In university, I dove into mathematical logic and experimental psychology, driven by a core belief: human creativity isn’t random. It’s powered by our drive to find patterns, organize information, and create something new. I wanted to build technology that could meaningfully support that process.

I followed the evolution of neural networks and cybernetics closely, always wondering when the technology would catch up to the vision. While I waited, I founded and ran several successful businesses, each one was a learning experience about what organizations really need from their data.

Then, this July, everything came together. After years of development (and yes, many more napkin sketches) the vision became reality. A short time later, a patent was applied for.

What we’ve built is fundamentally different from conventional AI. It’s neither a traditional trained model nor a standard agent system—it’s an entirely new approach, based on principles I’ve been refining for years, with a unique ability to identify deep patterns within data.

Our first application tackles business intelligence. The system analyzes complex operational data—marketing systems, factory operations, strategic planning—and surfaces insights that typically take weeks of expert analysis to uncover. It reveals patterns and opportunities that might otherwise stay hidden.

This has been a long journey from those early sketches to where we are today. But we’re just getting started.
